Is it possible to paint all seekers with a single brush? Maybe.
There is a uniting factor amongst those on the devotional path, it is the cause of the journey itself. A seeker on the path of devotion is drawn there by That One Himself.
Those who dearly follow Shree KrsnaGuruji have come to Him because they have always been with Him. But how do you know if you have always been with Him? What is real and what is only belief?
Here, I can share from my own experience. It was at a time when my worldly duties had begun to wind down. One day looking back on my life, I saw it had been filled with joyous ups and painful downs, and I felt that if it were to end today, it would be okay.
At that same time, I became aware of a change in perception, which then led to an experience that compelled me to seek out an understanding of what I had experienced.
Most importantly, that experience itself told me, “God is modern. He uses the internet.”
It was soon after that I first heard Shree KrsnaGuruji (KrsnaKnows). He spoke like no other being. His words resonated within me. They were deep, bold, and unapologetic.
He was not trying to attract a following. He simply had been given a job by His own Gurudev.
Many times He has clearly stated to all, “I am here to teach. No one asked you here, you can get out too. It makes no difference to me.”
Yet, beyond the harshness of those words, there was something more. Somehow that which is within my heart responded to That which speaks through Guruji.
Even today when contemplating those moments of connection and reconnecting again and again, I feel that same love softening, opening, expanding outward as tears roll down my cheeks.
For me, it’s impossible to function in the world and remain always in that space of openness. Earlier on, I rested there for a long time, but Guruji never lets anyone overstay.
As one progresses on this path, subtle tests come. Things will push and pull you away. The battle is within you. It is your own Mahabharata war.
Guruji reminds us: it is Self-effort and Grace that allow us to endure the tests of His Maya.
As you gain your footing, Guruji will send you back into the world. Then it is up to you to hold the connection.
Some seekers remain steadily connected and grow in their journey. Others may come and go, while still others approach Guruji with demands or requests for things in their material worldly lives.
They want something from Him. They ask for some magic. They want jobs, children, money, better health–better everything. But these are not sincere seekers of Truth, they are seekers of benefits.
Through Guruji’s teachings, those on the devotional path learn how to live in the world trusting the Divine Lord to provide what is needed. They come into Faith and know that all is by the will of God and for the good of all.
Do not worry for those who do not remain with Guruji. They had to meet Him in this life, even if just briefly. They will meet Him again and again in their future lives too.
It is not easy to remain on the path. Guruji has warned that it will only get more difficult as the Kali Yuga progresses.
You are blessed to be joining this community. Meeting an embodied Spiritual Master is the rarest of opportunities. Truly it is the opportunity of many lifetimes!
Each seeker has their own story of how they got here, that is where the differences lie. But, those on the devotion path are united in love of the One Beloved.
They are not seeking magic, favors or an escape from an unpleasant life. They are seeking only to live in the Truth of Divine Love.
So please dear Seeker, do not let this time slip away. Ask your questions and receive your answers. Hold on to this Divine Master. Experience the joy and laughter of the presence, and go forward on your spiritual journey.
Our Gurudev’s blessings are overflowing. His Grace knows no bounds. He is God incarnate. Take shelter in Him.
