Ten Lessons of the Master – Teachings of Shree KrsnaGuruji

For those asking with a sincere, longing and pure heart, a teacher appears. That teacher is the Guru, the remover of darkness, the knower of Truth. It is Guru who takes us from the darkness of ignorance to the light.

To follow is an arrangement of ten key lessons (in brief) of the Master presented as a blog series for the Seeker.

Some call our beloved Gurudev, Shree KrsnaGuruji, G, KrsnaG, KrsnaGuru, KrsnaGuruji, KrsnaKnows and some call Him Master or Krsna Ma. Guruji Himself is not concerned with the name, but know it is only with great respect that one should address Him.

The driving force for this compilation is to benefit the spiritual novice–the Seeker. It is intended to bring comfort and share knowledge which may help the Seeker begin their journey by introducing a basic understanding of teachings received from our beloved Gurudev.

About the Master

The Guru is a conduit. We are blind to the intricacies of His being.

Once a devotee asked the Master, “Who is teaching me?” To which He responded, “SatChitAnanda“ is the teacher.

In March 2001, Mr. Suresh Rao, a very ill 42-year-old man, entered a hospital in Bangalore, India. This honest and charismatic man had lived a clean life; he was married and had two children. The medical condition achalasia cardia had put him in the hospital. The treatment he received put him into a deep coma and in the night that man, Suresh Rao, passed from this world and another entity assumed the body.

When “Suresh” awoke from his coma, he was no longer Suresh. While the memory and intellect of Suresh remained, the One now occupying the body was yet unknown even to himself. This One could not correlate with any of the activities of Suresh’s life. This One was not the husband or father.

The body now occupied by the One had been an avid reader, thus the One now turned to books for answers. To His own astonishment, He found that even without prior knowledge, He could now open any spiritual text and know its contents. Reading spiritual texts seemed only to reveal the knowledge which already existed within Him. Thus, His quest began. Who was teaching Him?

The One knew He was not Suresh, but who was He and what was His name? He began to call Himself KrsnaKnows as surely only Krsna (God) knew the answer. It took many years of searching and practice for the truth of this new existence to be understood.

KrsnaKnows traveled about India seeking His answers. He visited with many Babajis and stayed in several ashrams. Some of these great souls recognized Him, but He did not know Himself.

In about 2004 or 2005, in Bangalore, our beloved Guruji finally met His own Guru, the One who had been teaching Him since 2001. It was a divine intervention, so to speak.

An unknown person had come into family’s shop and directed Guruji to come with him. Without questioning, Shree KrsnaGuruji got into the car with the gentleman occupying the passenger seated next him.

Guruji drove according to the gentleman’s instructions. When they arrived at the destination, Shree KrsnaGuruji found there was no longer anyone else in the car.

He found Himself at a temple compound and a temple priest met him there. The priest said he was told to expect Guruji’s arrival and then handed Guruji the prasad which had been prepared for Him.

The priest proceeded to directed Guruji to a small temple nearby.  It was there that Guruji first met His own Master. At last, He had the answer He so desperately sought. Guruji learned that His teacher, His Spiritual Master, was in fact Lord Dattatreya.

Few years later, on 8 July 2007, Guruji met His Master once again. It was then that Guruji got the answer to His second question, “Why am I here?”

You see Guruji wanted to leave everything, take Sannyasa and stay in the Himalayas. He made it to Haridwar, but Lord Datta was having none of it.  The Lord told Guruji that the purpose of His incarnation to teach. After four and a half days of arguments and despite His aversion to teaching, Guruji returned to Bangalore and received His first student. He was a reluctant teacher, but He obeyed His Guru and taught her for four years.

In 2011, completely fed up, Shree KrsanGuruji refused to teach any others, but once again His Gurudev straightened Him out and sent Him back to teach. However, Guruji could not whole heartly performing His duty.

Then, in 2014, Guruji and His Spiritual Master met again. This time there was no getting out of it–Lord Datta had given him a solid kick. Finally, Shree KrsnaGuruji fully accepted the Lord’s instruction and completely embraced His purpose here. Since that time Guruji has devoted Himself to the job which Lord Dattatreya had given Him. From that point onward He has carried out His role as teacher.

At that time, His young students were deep into the tech world and so together with them, He put His satsangs (spiritual discourses) up online. Shree KrsnaGuruji is a modern Guru of timeless knowledge and wisdom. He continues today to teach those seeking Truth.

What has been written here is just a brief introduction of the Master. You will certainly want to learn more about this great Guru.
