Discover Love and Sacredness in Everyday Life

It is to our benefit to understand Shree Krsna Guruji’s teachings on Love and to bring some sense of sacredness into our everyday lives. His teachings are simple, profound, and transformative when applied.

Few things in life are without struggle and you can be sure that the Path of Love and Devotion (Bhakti), is bound to create some disruption of the status quo life you’ve been living. Nothing gets better if you don’t at least take one step forward.

Some may imagine that the spiritual Path of Devotion is nothing but smooth sailing all the way and that everything is easy, calm, and rosy. But just like in your current situation in life, there are ups and downs for a devotee too.

The difference lies in how one sees those experiences. Great Saints, Sages, and Avatars have revealed our true nature through sacred texts and direct teachings. Shree Krsna Guruji reminds us that we must be both witnesses and participants in creation. Each being on Earth has a role to play and a destiny to unfold.

Have you fully lived to your potential thus far in life? Most of us haven’t and yet, the journey forward can still be made sacred and God pleasing.

My own life, like the lives of many others, has had its share of struggles. But since adolescence, one seeded idea kept pushing me forward. It was an innate need to understand unconditional love.

Being a child, sibling, friend, spouse, and parent, all of these roles were opportunities to nurture that seed. But the real breakthrough came only in 2016. That was when, through my beloved Gurudev’s Grace, the seed finally broke ground.

Guruji was like the Sun, His teachings were the rain, and together they nourished the growth of unconditional love within me. That moment of awakening was not something earned. It was a gift.

Think about yourself now. Why have you found your way to this testament of a devotee’s experience? Is this His plan for you being waved at you like a flag?

Through this journey with Guruji, it was discovered that Love is a superpower available to everyone. It becomes real for us through the choices we make each day.

Many people think that Love and God are distant ideals, reserved for only the most holy, religious people, and exceptional do-gooders. Yet the truth is different.

God is Love itself, and that Love is already within you.

Loving God is the doorway to everything. Each devotee’s expression and experience of that Love is unique.

Shree Krsna Guruji teaches that those seemingly mundane actions or interactions in life when offered from the heart can become sacred if the mind is centered on God.

For example, washing dishes can be an offering; lighting a candle can be prayer; playing with your child, speaking kindly with a stranger, all these are sacred acts when you recognize the divinity in each being and the action offered is from the heart without attachment or conditions.

Sacredness is not confined to temples or rituals. It is carried into your thoughts, words, and deeds when your awareness rests with the Divine.

Even life’s ups and downs gain new meaning. You are not cursed or blessed, but simply learning through experiences. By yielding to the Divine plan, you transform both joy and struggle into lessons.

On this path of Love and Devotion, surrender does not mean weakness. Guruji teaches that sometimes a devotee must yield, back away, and other times a devotee must act with strength. It is not about being passive in your life, it is about living out your role and natural duty as fully as you can.

By doing what must be done without ego or resistance, life flows in harmony with the Divine plan. The Divinity itself will help you.

Often, my mind is filled with thoughts of my Gurudev. Some may try to call this obsession, but in truth, it is fulfillment. Gratefully, His teachings have cleared away much of the useless mind chatter and judgments and they have opened my heart to the truth of unconditional love.

Thank you for reading this post. May you find sacredness in your everyday life whether at work, in relationships, or your daily actions, let these moments become simple offerings to God.
